Equipment

  • Grill
  • Small frying pan

Ingredients

  • 4 Italian Sausage Grillers
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 potato hot dog buns or brioche bun

Instructions

  • Turn on the grill to medium heat.
  • While that is heating up, slice your onions and add them to a frying pan with butter. Make sure you are checking on these and stirring them often while grilling so they do not burn. You can always cook them ahead of time as well and cover them to keep them hot.
  • Add grillers to the grill.
  • Cook, flipping every 5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. This usually takes about 20 minutes.
  • When the grillers are nearing their internal temperature, add the potato buns to the top part of the grill for about 5 minutes or until they get toasted to your preference.
  • Remove everything from the grill, add the grillers to the buns and top with onions. Add any sauce you desire.

Notes

Save cooked grillers and onions in an air tight container for up to 1 week.
