Butter boards are here and I am excited about it. This version is the perfect combination of flavors with roasted garlic cloves, fresh herbs, seasonings and creamy, smooth butter.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the top of the garlic bulb off. Drizzle with olive oil and add some salt and then wrap the bulb in tin foil. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Soften the butter but make sure it does not melt. Spread the room temperature butter out on a small board. Feel free to create a pretty design in the butter to create a pretty presentation.
Mash the roasted garlic and spread on top of the butter. Add chopped chives, parsley, salt and pepper. Drizzle honey on top.
Slice your bread. Serve with the butter board. Spread some of the butter on your bread before enjoying.
Notes
-serve with bread of your choice.-bread in photograph is Trader Joe's French Onion focaccia. -save leftovers wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge and use as compound butter.
