Garlic Bread Cheesesteaks

Buttery, garlicky, and toasted garlic bread filled with delicious, fresh chipped steak and melted, cheesy provolone cheese.

Equipment

  • Frying Pan with Lid
  • Garlic Press

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh Italian Hoagie Rolls
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ½ tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 lb chipped steak
  • 12 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave or on the stove.
  • Press the garlic cloves into the butter and mix.
  • Spoon and spread the butter and garlic mixture onto the inside of the Italian rolls.
  • Pop them in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes or until toasted to your preference.
  • On the stove, add the steak to a frying pan. Chip as they cook if you prefer or you can keep them in slices.
  • Once cooked, place the cheese slices on top and cover.
  • Remove bread from the oven.
  • Once cheese is melted, transfer the cheesy steaks from the pan to the bread rolls.
  • Serve with desired toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Wrap in tin foil and save for up to 3 days.  Reheat before eating again.
