Ingredients

  • 7 slices bacon
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 ½ cup parmesan grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lb lobster ravioli

Instructions

  • Chop bacon into small pieces.  Cook bacon in the skillet on medium heat until crispy.  Remove from the pan.  Remove about half of the bacon grease leaving some in the pan.
  • Add butter and olive oil to the skillet.  Add in crushed garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy whipping cream and freshly grated parmesan cheese.  Cook until parmesan is melted in. Cook ravioli according to the directions on the package.
  • Add in the cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper into sauce.  Mix in spices.
  • Add a large spoonful of pasta water to the sauce and mix in. Add ravioli into the pan and fold into the sauce.  Sprinkle bacon on top with fresh parsley or fresh chives if desired.  Serve immediately.

Notes

  • save leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • leftovers can stand up to freezing for up to 2 months.
  • add lemon zest and fresh herbs before serving for extra flavor.
  • grate the parmesan yourself, it makes a big difference in the quality of the sauce.
  • add pasta water in the sauce to help it thicken.
