Cheeseburger Sliders with Hawaiian Rolls

  • 1 9x13 inch casserole dish
  • 1 Chefs Knife
  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 2 small bowls

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs ground beef
  • 12 sweet Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 onion sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup dill relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic + some to season ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to season ground beef

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spread ground beef in an even layer in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Season with salt, pepper and garlic. Bake for 20 minutes. Add slices of cheddar cheese. Bake another 3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Add mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, dill relish, paprika and garlic powder into a small bowl.  Mix until combined.  Set aside.  Slice the onions.  Heat up olive oil in a frying pan and cook the onions until they begin to caramelize.
  • Cut sheet of slider rolls in half. Spread shredded lettuce on the bottom half of the rolls.  Place sheet of cooked ground beef on top of the bed of lettuce.  Spread the sautéed onions on top of the layer of cheese.
  • Spread burger sauce evenly on top sheet of slider rolls. Place the top layer of slider rolls on top of the onions. Cut the sliders and serve with extra burger sauce.

Notes

  • save leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
