Easy Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Sliders Recipe

These simple hot honey pizza sliders have a little sweet heat from the hot honey.

Equipment

  • 1 Casserole Dish
  • 1 Cheese Grater
  • 1 sharp serrated bread knife
  • 1 Basting Brush

Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 3 tablespoon hot honey
  • 24 pepperoni
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan grated
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grate mozzarella cheese.
  • Prepare a large casserole dish or baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice slider rolls in half and place in casserole dish.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the bottom half of the rolls. Drizzle hot honey over the pizza sauce. Spread mozzarella over the layer of pizza sauce. Spread pepperoni slices evenly over the mozzarella.
  • Drizzle hot honey evenly over the pepperoni. Place top of the buns over the pepperoni. Melt butter. Add garlic and hot honey to the butter. Baste melted butter on top of the rolls.
  • Cover sliders with aluminum foil. Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Grate parmesan on top of the rolls and sprinkle oregano. Serve immediately or save for later.

Notes

  • save leftover sliders in an airtight container for up to 3-5 days in the fridge. 
  • these ingredients do not stand up well to freezing due to the honey.
  • reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer prior to serving.
