Equipment

  • 1 gas grill
  • 1 sharp knife and cutting board

Ingredients

For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 lb bacon

For the Dipping Sauce

  • cup mayonnaise
  • cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish

Instructions

  • Peel your shrimp and remove the tails. Slice bacon strips in half and wrap bacon around each shrimp.
  • Heat the grill up to medium heat. Place the bacon wrapped shrimp on the grill seam side down. Grill until there are charred grill marks present on each side, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Move the shrimp up to the top rack, turn the grill down to low and close the lid. Allow the bacon wrapped shrimp to finish cooking for about 5-7 minutes or until bacon appears cooked to desired crispness.
  • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup and horseradish in a small bowl. Serve shrimp wrapped bacon immediately with horseradish dipping sauce.
