Equipment

  • 1 medium casserole dish
  • 1 medium bowl
  • 1 small bowl
  • 1 Basting Brush
  • 1 serrated bread knife

Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian slider rolls
  • ½ rotisserie chicken
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix can be dressed if preferred
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice slider rolls in half. Shred rotisserie chicken. Mix chicken with barbecue sauce. Shred cheddar cheese.
  • Spread barbecue sauce on the bottom half of the sliders. Spread half of the cheddar cheese over the barbecue sauce. Spread chicken over layer of cheese. Spread second half of cheddar cheese over chicken. Spread coleslaw mix over later of cheese.
  • Place top half of the rolls over the coleslaw mix. Melt butter and add crushed garlic. Baste garlic butter on top of rolls.
  • Cover rolls with aluminum foil. Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve sliders immediately or save for later.

Notes

  • save leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
  • leftover sliders can be frozen for up to 2 months in a freezer safe container.
  • reheat leftovers before serving.
