Thanksgiving Leftover Sliders Recipe with Turkey

Equipment

  • 1 large casserole dish or baking sheet
  • 1 sharp serrated bread knife
  • 1 aluminum foil

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian slider buns
  • 3-4 cups stuffing
  • 3-4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 6 slices turkey breast
  • 1 can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 4 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice slider buns in half and remove top of the rolls. Place the bottoms of the rolls in the casserole dish.
  • Spread stuffing on bottoms of the rolls. Spread mashed potatoes on top of the stuffing layer.
  • Spread slices of turkey over the mashed potatoes. Add tops of the rolls on top of the turkey layer and baste with melted butter. Cover casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the top layer of rolls from the sliders and spread a layer of cranberry sauce over the turkey. Place the tops of the rolls back over the sliders. Serve immediately or save for later.

Notes

  • save leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
  • reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer prior to serving.
  • this recipe does not stand up well to freezing assembled but the individual ingredients can be frozen on their own.
