Ingredients
The base of this turkey sliders recipe is sweet Hawaiian slider rolls that are basted with butter. Layered on the rolls are mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey and cranberry sauce. You can either use leftovers from Thanksgiving for this recipe, or if you want to make them fresh, buy instant potatoes, stove top stuffing, fresh turkey breast or turkey tenderloin and jarred cranberry sauce.

See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions

- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice slider buns in half and remove top of the rolls. Place the bottoms of the rolls in the casserole dish.

- Step 2: Spread stuffing on bottoms of the rolls. Spread mashed potatoes on top of the stuffing layer.

- Step 3: Spread slices of turkey over the mashed potatoes. Add tops of the rolls on top of the turkey layer and baste with melted butter. Cover casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.

- Step 4: Remove the top layer of rolls from the sliders and spread a layer of cranberry sauce over the turkey. Place the tops of the rolls back over the sliders. Serve immediately or save for later.
Hint: to really take this recipe to the next level, add slices of swiss cheese or cheddar cheese over the turkey prior to baking. This will add a melty layer of cheese that adds a ton of flavor and texture.
Substitutions
- Turkey - instead of turkey, leftover ham can also be used
- Slider Rolls - use gluten free slider rolls instead of white bread buns to make this gluten free
- Vegetarian - the turkey can be replaced with a plant-based turkey or tofu to make this vegetarian
Variations
- Chicken Bacon Ranch - add chicken bacon ranch flavors to the sliders to change up the recipe
- Hoagie - add your Thanksgiving leftovers to a hoagie roll for a packed and delicious leftover sandwich

Equipment
To make this recipe, you will need a sharp serrated bread knife and a large casserole dish. Aluminum foil is also needed to bake the sliders. If you are cooking the stuffing, mashed potatoes and turkey fresh, you will need large sauce pans as well as a roasting pan.
How to Store Thanksgiving Sliders
Store the leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat leftovers in the oven or in the air fryer.
These ingredients don't stand up well to freezing due to the cranberry sauce. Thanksgiving leftovers can be frozen individually for up to 2 months.
Top Tip
If using leftovers, bring all the leftovers to room temperature before assembling. Cold ingredients straight from the refrigerator won't heat through properly in the oven, leaving you with lukewarm or even chilled centers. Set everything out 30 minutes before you start building.

Feel free to customize based on what leftovers you have. The essential components are the rolls, turkey, and cranberry sauce. Stuffing and mashed potatoes add texture and bulk but aren't mandatory. Some people add green bean casserole or sweet potato casserole instead.
