As a busy Mom of two toddlers, I understand how hard it can be to get a home-cooked meal on the table. It can also be difficult to search for new recipes let alone learn them.

How The Buttered Gnocchi Got It's Start
I have spent the last decade learning different techniques, tips and tricks that have helped me find success in the kitchen and can confidently consider myself a food expert. Through this experience, I have gained the knowledge to pass on through the recipes on this site.
Techniques such as grilling techniques to help you reverse sear the perfect medium rare ribeye steak or leaning how to make brioche bun cinnamon rolls from scratch.
My love of blogging started when I started my first one at 21 with not one clue what I was doing. I dove into the research and learned how to grow my social media. That stopped when I started my career and after a couple years off, The Buttered Gnocchi was born.
At that point, I had moved out of my parents house, was living with my now husband and was working as a full time 4th grade teacher.
Once we started our family, we decided it would be best for me to stay at home with our children, so I left my teaching job to take on the most important role of my life, being a mommy.
Along with this I was also able to dedicate a lot more time to growing The Buttered Gnocchi and bringing it into what it is today, a flourishing recipe website helping thousands of homes create delicious and simple recipes for their families across the world.

About Me
I am a 30 year old mother of two toddlers living in the suburbs of Philly. I have been married to my husband, Nate, for four years. We have a dog, two cats and a bearded dragon. I enjoy vacationing every summer in Chincoteague, Va and OBX, Nc. I graduated with my bachelors in early childhood education from Temple University and spent 4 years teaching 4th grade in Philadelphia. I now stay home with my babies and develop recipes not only for us to enjoy, but that I can teach to all of you.
I love immersing myself and learning new techniques to use in my recipes. A lot of what I have learned has been from those around my or those I have connected with over the years. I gained a lot of my sourdough knowledge from my Dad, my grilling knowledge from my father in law, and my delicious meatloaf recipe from my grandfather.
