Officially introducing Mr. and Mrs. Moyer!
It is still so crazy! I can't believe we are finally married! After one year and eight months of planning, most of that during a pandemic, our dream wedding happened! I am so excited to finally call Nate my husband and also to finally be called his wife.
The Venue
We hosted our wedding at none other than my parents' house! They live on 9 ½ acres of Pennsylvania farmland with a beautiful pond. It was so dreamy. My parents did a fabulous job transforming their property into our dream venue and I could not be more thankful!
Photography
Our photographer was Jess Palatucci out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was EXCELLENT! Honestly if we only got our sneak peaks back and that was it I would already be 100% satisfied (although I am so excited to see the rest). Her and her second shooter Julianna were so professional and kept me on schedule! They also always made sure I had access to water if I was getting hot!
The Dress
My dress was a Justin Alexander and I purchased it at Bijou Bridal in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The second I tried it on I was in love. The detailing in the lace, the beautiful front and back v-neck, the champagne colored under layer. This dress was 11 layers of fabulous. I felt so confident and comfortable the whole night. Looking back at the other dresses I tried on that day, I know I definitely made the right decision!
Hair and Makeup
Hair was done by A Snip in Thyme Hair Salon in Ottsville, Pennsylvania. The stylist who did my hair, Vicki, is a long time family friend and has been doing my hair since elementary school! Her helper, Megan, was also absolutely fantastic! We had such a fun time with these girls!
Makeup was done by Make Me Glam from Marlton, NJ. Tina was our makeup stylist and oh my goodness she is FABULOUS! We all had so much fun with her and oh my goodness did she make us look beautiful! We all felt so confident all day and our makeup didn't budge at all!
Bridesmaids Dresses and Groomsmen Suits
The Bridesmaids dresses were from David's Bridal. Every bridesmaid got to pick any style dress they wanted as long as it came in dusty blue! Fun fact about the colors, Nate actually picked them! He was so invested in the wedding planning and really enjoyed being involved in every step!
The suits for the groomsmen were from David's Bridal and we got the ties to match the dresses from Etsy.
Catering and Desserts
Catering was done by Mission BBQ. Oh my goodness was this the correct choice! We LOVED the food and it was the perfect vibe for our backyard wedding! We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had and Mission BBQ was excellent to work with as a company!
The Farm provided our dessert table as well as our cake. Our dessert table and cake were absolutely fabulous and this food blogger definitely approved! The Farm even provided Nate and I with a Bride and Groom box of all of the desserts so we got a chance to have one of everything! This was great because we definitely did not have a chance to grab desserts at all!
Brindle was also the cutest flower dog possible
The Details
My rings were both from David Jay Jewelers and Nate's was from Kay Jewelers. Nate picked out my engagement ring all on his own. We used a diamond I had from my great grandmother and Nate has it reset into a beautiful setting. My wedding band alternates between marquise and round cut diamonds.
Our invitations were all from Shutterfly! We loved them! They were so easy to order and completely fit the vibe I was going for.
My Favorite Part
Easily my favorite part was walking down the aisle. Nate and I did not do a first look and did not talk to the morning of the wedding at all. So the first time we were talking, seeing each other and interacting that day was at the ceremony. It was so worth it to me to wait until that moment to see him when I saw his face. The smile he wore was unforgettable and when I got close enough, I could see tears in his eyes. That moment just felt so authentic and full of love. My heart skipped a beat and then moments later, we were officially husband and wife.
Nate's Favorite Part
He says that he does not have a favorite and that the whole day was just so perfect for him. I have to admit, he is 100% right. Our day was perfect. We loved spending the day celebrating with family and friends and are so appreciative of everyone who helped us make this day so special. Now for one more picture of Brindle looking adorable!!!
