Snickers Filled Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Crispy chocolate chip peanut butter cookies stuffed with chewy, peanut filled, chocolatey snickers bars to create the perfect peanut lovers cookie dream! Cookies are amazing for any occasion! Especially when they are this good. These cookies are the perfect addition to your Christmas cookie baking list and is also a great birthday treat! I love cookies year round though, so why not bring these along for Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, basically any holiday out there!
Peanut butter and chocolate? Sign me up every single time! Snickers are my husband's favorite and he has been bugging me non stop to make a recipe like this. Well, lucky for him, I finally listened and the result was so worth it!
It is even more perfect that I made this recipe right in time for the holidays because I think we're going to be munching on this one all season long!
Ingredients:
- butter
- eggs
- sugar
- peanut butter
- vanilla
- flour
- baking powder
- baking soda
- chocolate chips
- mini snickers
- salt
Kitchen Appliances:
- KitchenAid Mixer
- baking sheet
The Steps:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add in eggs one at a time mixing in between. Add in vanilla and mix. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix together. Slowly add in the dry ingredients to the wet in small increments, mixing slowly in between. Fold in the chocolate chips. Place about 2 tablespoon of dough on the cookie sheet. Place one snickers in the middle of each ball of dough and cover with dough until none of the snickers can be seen. Bake 20-22 minutes. Remove the cookies to a cookie rack immediately and let cool.
Do I need a KitchenAid mixer to make this recipe?
Nope! But I will admit, having one makes a recipe like this a million times easier! You can also use a hand mixer or mix using a rubber spatula if you prefer! Totally up to you!
