This recipe is perfect for almost any occasion. The holidays, any party, football games, you name it! If you are looking for a quick and easy app packed with flavor, here you have it!
This was one of the first recipes that really got me into cooking! I got the idea from my uncle years ago and over time, started twisting it to be my own. Growing up, I did not cook much at all. I was so busy that my typical dinner in high school was a quickly fried egg with toast. Once I stopped playing high school, I finally realized that cooking is totally my thing! This recipe 100% made that happen and I am quite thankful for that! Cooking helps me feel so complete and I love having a hobby that I am so passionate about!
Ingredients:
- Kielbasa
- Ginger Ale
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Horseradish
Kitchen Appliances:
The Steps:
Slice the kielbasa thin. Add the sliced kielbasa to a frying pan with the ginger ale. Cook on medium stirring every few minutes. It will take about 10 minutes for most of the liquid to cook out. Once there is only a little liquid covering the bottom of the pan, start stirring the kielbasa non stop until all of the ginger ale is cooked out and the kielbasa starts to caramelize. Remove the kielbasa from the heat and serve with dipping sauce. To make the dipping sauce, mix ketchup, mayonnaise and horseradish.
How does the ginger ale help the kielbasa caramelize?
The sugars in the ginger ale caramelize the kielbasa and adds a little tangy flavor that you wouldn't get from just sugar!
