I love fall, autumn, whatever you want to call it, I love it. I love when the leaves change colors, the cool crisp air, and all things apple and pumpkin. Which brings me to my Autumn Apple Cider Mimosas. These tasty treats take a regular mimosa to a whole new level. They are boozy and sparkling but have such a warm hint of apple cider that creates the perfect fall morning drink.
Nate and I LOVE apple cider mimosas. Especially during the crisp fall months when we're waiting for the NFL games to start on Sunday mornings. There is something so comforting about a delicious mimosa in the morning, especially when it's a Sunday funday!
- brut champagne
- apple cider
- champagne flutes
This recipe gets better by the second. Not only is it just two ingredients, but it only takes two steps to create. All you do is pour champagne about ¾ of the way up the flute. Then, you pour the apple cider the rest of the way. That's it! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! You can even garnish with some apple slices if you're really feeling in!
Do I have to use brut champagne?
Nope! I just like the dryness since the apple cider is so sweet. I also have made it with extra dry which is just a tad sweeter but I didn't really notice much of a difference.
