Hot honey ranch is the perfect balance of sweet and heat. It is the perfect creamy base dipping sauce for chicken tenders, chicken wings, and can you imagine dipping pizza in this sauce? This irresistible hot honey ranch recipe is going to find a permanent spot in your fridge shelf.

This sauce recipe goes great with a variety of dishes throughout the year. It is a great sauce to pair with summer barbecue recipes or game day appetizers. It is an excellent dipping sauce for chicken wings on football Sunday and also a great sauce to add to a fried chicken sandwich. It is a great recipe to serve as a side sauce for Memorial Day, July 4th or Labor day weekend barbecues.
This was inspired by my Homemade Chick Fil A Sauce on this site, and pairs well with this Classic Chicken Sandwich.

Ingredients
- mayonnaise
- hot sauce
- honey
- fresh dill
- chili oil
- fresh parsley
- lemon
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- salt
- pepper

Instructions
- Step 1: Combine mayonnaise, hot sauce, honey, chili oil, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Step 2: Chop parsley and dill. Add to sauce ingredients. Squeeze fresh lemon into the sauce.
- Step 3: Mix until combined.
- Step 4: Serve immediately or save for later.
Hint: use a fresh garlic chili oil for a strong and delicious flavor to add some heat to the blend of hot honey.
Substitutions
- Store bought chili oil - pour hot oil cooked on medium-high heat into a a blend of spices such as red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, etc. for an extra spice level and flavor
- Mayonnaise - use sour cream instead of mayonnaise
- Ground Spices - the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper can be replaced with a ranch seasoning mix
Variations
- Plain - include all of the ingredients except the honey, chili oil and hot sauce for a classic ranch recipe.
- Horseradish Sauce - make a mayonnaise based sauce mixed with horseradish for a different flavor profile

Equipment
To make this recipe you will need a small bowl. To store leftovers, use a mason jar. Extra small bowls need to be used as bowls for the dipping sauce when serving.
Storage
Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
These ingredients don't stand up well to freezing.
