Peanut Butter Crunch Bars with Chocolate Drizzle. Crispy peanut butter cereal mixed with melty, buttery marshmallows formed into bars and drizzled with sweet, rich milk chocolate. There are so many sweet and salty flavors that truly shine through this dish. This is the perfect grab and go snack and is a great dessert to bring along to any party.
Wow okay, I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. This is basically all of my childhood dreams put together. Peanut butter cereal and chocolate. Yup, ok that will be all thanks! I am telling you, if you are a Peanut Butter Captain Crunch Cereal fan you need to do this pronto.
Do you remember those cereal bars growing up? As a 90's/00's kid I sure do and I was obsessed! Think along those line, but even better, sweeter and with chocolate. Because let's be honest here, absolutely everything is better with a little chocolate!
Ingredients:
- Peanut Butter Captain Crunch Cereal
- butter
- marshmallow
- milk chocolate chips
- butter
Kitchen Appliances:
- skillet
The Steps:
On medium heat, melt butter on the stove. Add in the marshmallows and cook until melted. Add in cereal and fold into marshmallow mixture. Pour the cereal mixture in a casserole dish lined with parchment paper. Form to pan. Allow to set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Cut the peanut butter crispy mold into squares. Place the crunch bars on a cookie sheet. In the microwave, melt butter and chocolate chips together. Melt for 30 seconds, remove and stir. If necessary, continue to add the chocolate back into the microwave for 10 seconds at a time, stirring each time. Drizzle chocolate over the peanut butter bars. Allow the chocolate to set for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Do I have to add the chocolate drizzle?
Nope! Totally optional and it is still delicious without the extra chocolate! I am all about that extra level of flavor though!

- 1 stick butter
For the chocolate drizzle
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoon butter
