Strawberry Banana Mango White Sangria. A fruity, refreshing and sweet mix of white wine, fruit juices, vodka and fresh fruit. The flavors scream summer and this recipe is perfect to enjoy during a summer barbecue. The secret here is the banana. It adds a beautiful hint of mild sweetness that you didn't know you needed.
I love a good sangria. My Mom and I started making them all the time once I turned 21. It was an activity that we loved to do together and always provided us with a tasty treat in the end! We experimented with a lot of different variations until we landed on one we really liked. We both are white wine people which is why our go to is always a white sangria as well.
Now we have sangria at all family events. Barbecues, parties, birthday parties, random Sunday night dinners. It has basically turned into a fun tradition that is so easy to make and always so delicious!
Ingredients:
- Pinot Grigio white wine
- vodka
- white grape peach juice
- strawberries
- bananas
- mangos
Kitchen Appliances:
- large beverage dispenser
The Steps:
Chop the strawberries, mangos and bananas. Add the wine, vodka and white grape peach juice to the beverage dispenser. Add the fruit to the beverage dispenser. Place the beverage dispenser in the fridge and let it sit for 12-24 hours to let the fruity flavors infuse in the sangria. Serve over ice.
Why do you have to let the fruit sit in the sangria?
The fruit flavors infuse into the sangria mix as it sits. This allows these flavors to really shine. The longer it sits before serving, the better.
