Boozy Cinnamon Eggnog Cocktails. The most cozy, refreshing cocktail filled with creamy goodness and a little spicy kick from the cinnamon. It's time to take your holidays to the next level with this boozy, delicious cocktail. Eggnog is a holiday classic, so why not kick it up a notch?
I love a holiday boozy cocktail. I am all about it all the time. But, the funny thing is, I never was big on eggnog until honestly the past two years. I am not big on milk (got sick from drinking too much chocolate milk as a child and have been scarred ever since) so I guess I just associated eggnog in the same category. WRONG! If you get a good eggnog, thick, creamy and fresh, oh my goodness there is nothing else like it!
Ingredients:
- Eggnog
- White Rum
- Cinnamon
Kitchen Appliances:
The Steps:
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, rum and eggnog. Shake well. Pour the drink (without the ice) over ice in a scotch glass. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Add cinnamon sticks as a garnish.
Yup, its that easy.
Can I use spiced rum?
Yes! This will of course change the flavor a little bit, but luckily the spiced flavor pairs perfectly with the eggnog.
Can I use any eggnog?
Yes! I do suggest trying to find a local farm that sells it if possible. It is a fantastic quality from the majority of farms and is way thicker and creamier than what you get in the food store! It is also always great to support local business!
