Ingredients
The base of this classic tuna salad sandwich are cans of tuna and mayonnaise. Tomato and lettuce leaves are added for added texture. For extra flavor and a little crunch, diced onion, sweet relish and diced celery are added into the tuna salad. A good quality slices of bread are best to use for this sandwich. The type of bread can be changed depending on preference but I prefer a fluffy, fresh white bread or sandwich bread. Rye bread is a another great option.
