Crispy air fried chicken wings tossed in a creamy spicy bang bang sauce served with a side of blue cheese, these bang bang wings are sure to get your taste buds going. This recipe takes all of the fan favorite flavors of bang bang shrimp and turned them into a decadent chicken wing version.

These irresistible bang bang chicken wings are perfect to serve as a game day snack. They are also great to make as a party appetizer or even a fun appetizer based family dinner. Wings always go great with pizza in my opinion and could serve as a delicious Friday night appetizer without having to order out from a restaurant.
This was inspired by my Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wing recipe on this site, and pairs well with this Cheeseburger Slider recipe.

Equipment
To create this recipe, you will need an air fryer and a large mixing bowl. If frying the wings, you will need a deep fryer. If baking, use a baking sheet.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Good for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
These ingredients don't stand up well to freezing after cooking.
Top Tip
For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or chili powder to the sweet chili sauce mixture. There is already a good kick from the sweet Thai chili sauce but this will add a good amount of additional heat.
FAQ
Yes, chopped green onions are the perfect garnish for these delicious wings.
